His dedication, talent and personality have ensured he has become a highly valued and popular figure at HML and in our industry. He thoroughly deserves this award and it is a fantastic accolade for HML to be associated with as it reassures our clients the finance side of our business is in highly capable hands.”

To secure the win, at the Yorkshire Finance Director Awards, currently in its ninth year, each short-listed nominee is interviewed by a panel of key industry figures as part of a process which takes almost six months.

Having joined HML in 2007 Warman has played a central role in the firm's implementation of a new business strategy.  Skipton-based HML works for some of the best known financial institutions in the UK and has around GBP 46bn of assets under management. It employs 2000 staff across 5 locations.

Neil Warman said: “I am delighted and humbled to have been recognised with this award. Although the award may have been presented to me personally, it is recognition of the work and achievements of everyone in my team.”
