Advisersunited.com broker support service launches
Monday 8th February 2010A new service, called Advisers United has been launched by the founders of financial advice portal Need An Adviser.com.
Ashley Clark and Joanne Roberts launched the adviser only service targeted to solve the RDR worries of advisers and mortgage brokers facing the burden of increased regulation or those with concerns over PI cover, Level 4 Examinations or new Capital Adequacy requirements.
Clark said the service: “Will unite advisers by working together to help each other yet to retain autonomy to continue running their own business without the regulatory burden”.
Advisers United is a referrals and compliance portal. Services offered include the option to refer and outsource the financial advice liability, allowing you to report back to clients or to outsource the advice function completely.
Other outsourcing services include specialist areas such as pensions transfers, equity release, care fees planning or Expatriate advice. Other unregulated areas are also available including wills, Powers of Attorney, Tax Returns as an additional service to clients.
Compliance Help is also on offer through the firm’s Compliance Templates Shop as well as face-to-face compliance consultancy with Joanne Roberts.
Clark said RDR nightmares are now over for advisers: “This is a dream fix. The adviser does the fact-find and refers to us, administration is done by us, research and advice liability is taken by us, suitability reports are written by Chartered Financial Planners, compliance is done by us, fees or commissions are shared usually up to 50 per cent with the referring adviser and then the client is returned to the adviser for ongoing services or ring fenced with a no cross-marketing guarantee."
The firm said operating costs are reduced for the adviser meaning a potential reduction or indeed zero capital adequacy requirements. Advisers United will even suit those who wish to de-authorise completely and act as introducers only.
