Mortgage Purchase Lead Demand up by over 100%
August 27th 2009 LeadPoint, the world’s first lead exchange marketplace, today reported a significant increase in the demand for mortgage purchase leads.
Comparing the number of leads sold in the first three weeks of August to the same period in July demand had increased for First-time Buyer leads by 88%, Next-time Buyer leads by 157% and Buy-to-let leads by 223%. Prices for mortgage purchase leads start from £5. Mortgage purchase leads can be filtered by postcode, loan value, credit grade and maximum LTV. In addition to this there are other lead buying options such as weekday and weekend volume caps and SMS lead delivery.
LeadPoint currently trades over 15 lead products including Mortgages, Loans, Private Medical Insurance, Debt Management & IVA, Life Insurance, ASU and Home Insurance leads. Lead Buyers can create a LeadPoint account for free and start buying leads within a matter of minutes after signing up.
Justin Rees, LeadPoint UK Head of Marketing said:
“Over the last few weeks we have seen a significant increase in the demand for mortgage purchase leads. The increase in demand has come from both our existing lead buyers starting to get back into the mortgage market but also from new customers signing up to LeadPoint specifically looking for these types of leads.
Although market conversion rates are still fairly low compared to what they were a few years ago, the prices for these leads have decreased significantly so that lead buyers can still make a very healthy return on investment from buying mortgage purchase leads.
An interesting trend that we are also witnessing is that many advisers are starting to snap up these cheap purchase leads so they can start to build a client bank for when the market begins to improve over the next few months. Every consumer that becomes a lead will have filled in a form giving over twenty pieces of information about their mortgage requirements and actively requested to be contacted by an adviser. Even if the adviser can’t service the consumer immediately, they can be remarketed to over time and these leads could end up generating a significant revenue.”
