Post Office Money has enhanced its mortgage range by announcing new fee-free mortgage deals.

It has also unveiled what it claims is the lowest Help to Buy two-year fixed rate mortgage in the market without an arrangement fee.

The new range includes a two-year fixed rate mortgage charging 2.28% to 80% LTV, or 2.34% to 85% LTV.

It also offers a new five-year fixed rate charging 3.03% to 80% LTV or 3.19% to 85% LTV.

The Post Office’s new Help to Buy mortgage is a two-year fixed rate charging 3.68% to 95% LTV.

John Willcock, head of Post Office Money Mortgages, said: “Our research shows that UK adults now expect to be 36 by the time they take their first step onto the property ladder, with some unsure if they will ever get onto it.

“We know homeownership can seem a distant goal for many, and want to do as much as we can for prospective buyers.

“Our new Help to Buy deal is the best on the market for those looking to avoid paying an arrangement fee, putting them one step closer to buying their first property.”
