Specialist mortgage lender Vida Homeloans has announced the launch of its new online Residential Max Loan Calculator (‘Max’), which aims to help intermediaries find the right way forward for customers who may not fit criteria outlined by high-street lenders.

The calculator, developed after extensive research with Vida’s intermediary partners, aims to support intermediaries with “the very best technology available in the mortgage market”.

As an added incentive, Vida is offering intermediaries the chance to win 2 free Cineworld tickets for a year via a prize draw, with those entering asked to answer five questions about famous examples of a “Max” to give themselves a chance of winning.

“The Max calculator is the latest example of designing our technology around the needs of the intermediary and their customers, just as we have done with our 100% online application process so far,” Guy Batchelor, Sales & Marketing Director of Vida Homeloans, said.

“In most cases, intermediaries can get an online decision in principle in less than 10 minutes and a full mortgage application submitted in less than 15 minutes. Plus auto-email updates keep them fully informed at key stages of the process.”

Last month it was announced that Vida Homeloans had reduced its buy-to-let rates and fees to improve the value and attractiveness of its range.
