Offset mortgage incentive extended by Accord

Borrowers taking out an offset mortgage have a few days left to be given a helping hand by Accord Mortgages. The intermediary-only lender has extended its offer to give a £1,000 boost to offset mortgage borrowers to this Friday.

As such, all borrowers who complete on an offset mortgage with Accord, which is part of the Yorkshire Building Society Group, by this Friday will be credited with £1,000 in their linked offset savings account.

The offer, available across Accord's entire offset range, includes a two-year offering of 2.14% at a loan-to-value (LTV) of 75%. No upfront fees are included and borrowers also receive a free standard valuation.

“Our £1,000 offset boost has been a big hit with brokers and their clients so we have made the decision to extend the offer for another week,” said David Robinson, National Intermediary Sales Manager at Accord.

He added: “Borrowers are always looking for ways to make their money work harder, so by offering a range of competitive offset mortgages plus this added bonus we aim to help them to reduce the interest they pay on their home loan as much as possible.”

Originally, Accord launched the £1,000 offer for two weeks from Friday 6 January, but high demand has seen them extend it for a few more days.
