The Society of Mortgage Professionals (SMP) has revealed the dates and venues for its autumn mortgage and protection roadshows, beginning in Scotland on September 26.
The six-part series of events will feature a comprehensive agenda of current mortgage and protection issues, featuring the latest news from the protection market, how to make the most of trusts, navigating specialist lenders and later life lending.
Taking place at Airth Castle in Stirlingshire first on September 26, the event will also include information on ‘generation rent’ – an analysis of the changing demographics in the property rental sector and the resulting opportunities for protection advice.
“In addition, we shall be taking a look at the General Data Protection Act (GDPR), and the implications of its launch in May 2018,” commented Vishal Pandya, operations manager SMP.
Pandya announced that each event would offer up to five hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD), confirming that The FCA will also conclude each day by returning to present their popular regulatory update.
