Brightstar Financial has launched a series of specialist lending workshops to help brokers engage with the market more effectively.
Merging with some of the UK’s leading lenders, Brightstar says this is the best time for brokers to get involved with specialist lending.
According to the firm, while some are already embracing the market, not all providers are fully-equipped to offer advice across a wide range of sectors. This has led to the specialist distributor creating two different workshops to help both types of business.
On Thursday 7 June, brokers already involved with specialist lending will have the opportunity to discuss their cases at the Brightstar clinic, as well as meet some of the biggest specialist lenders in the UK market and learn how to diversify into additional lending areas.
Then, on Thursday 21 June, Brightstar will run another workshop for brokers who don’t have the time or knowledge to offer specialist solutions to their clients, providing information on how they can grow their income potential.
Both workshops will cover complex of buy-to-let, specialist residential lending, commercial finance, unsecured loans, short-term lending and second charge mortgages.
Michelle Westley, head of marketing at Brightstar Financial, said with financial inclusion the key vision for the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), it’s important for borrowers to seek specialist lending solutions from advisers and for brokers to build a ‘robust income stream’.
The workshops will be held at Brightstar headquarters in Billericay, Essex, and will be in partnership with Magellan Homeloans, InterBay, Commercial, United Trust Bank, Pepper Money, Kensington and TML.
