Mortgage Advice Bureau York has scooped the award for the Top Business Most Improved in the business category at its annual conference.

Representatives from the mortgage industry gathered on Thursday 23 May as mortgage intermediary brand, Mortgage Advice Bureau, announced its 2019 award winners.

The ‘MABs’ were awarded to those who have gone the extra mile in their role over the last year and have demonstrated an ‘outstanding commitment’ to their customers.

Craig Elliot from the local mortgage firm was on hand to collect the reward.

He commented: “To be recognised as one of the top businesses’ within the UK is a testament to how hard all our advisers work.”

“With our recent expansion into business protection and wealth management, our offering covers all possible aspects for our clients. These opportunities will only increase as we aim to bring on board more specialist experts over the next year, whilst moving into larger city centre premises.”

Elliot continued: “Our achievements could not be recognised without the assistance of Mortgage Advice Bureau, who are changing the mortgage markets for the benefit of our customers.”

Peter Brodnicki, chief executive officer of Mortgage Advice Bureau, added: “The ‘MABs’ are an opportunity to recognise those mortgage and protection advisors and firms that have provided an outstanding service and dedication to helping customers.”

“Delivering an outstanding customer experience is a priority for MAB so we’re pleased to reward those who have gone above and beyond.”
