Advise Wise Mortgage Club has launched a specialist solicitor panel for its members to refer to regarding their case completion.

The firm has partnered with Ashfords, a national provider of legal, professional and regulatory services, and GWlegal, a national law firm with over 15 years’ experience advising homeowners on equity release plans.

With six offices and 22 contracted agents based across the country, Ashfords’ dedicated equity release team specialise in advising clients on the legal implications of lifetime mortgages and reversion plans.

The GW team provides clients with a free home visit service by a qualified lawyer whereby clients can ask questions and receive advice and support completing their legal documents. Clients and their financial advisers can also track progress 24/7 on their PC, tablet or mobile view their own GW Account.

Mortgage Club members will be able to refer to these specialists from the Mortgage Club section on their Advise Wise account.

Jonathan Thirkill, chief executive officer at Advise Wise, says: “When it comes to equity release cases, it’s important clients can refer to expert solicitors, specialised in this industry to ensure the completion process is as smooth as possible.”

“With these two partnerships, we are delighted to offer our members the opportunity to refer to specialist solicitors, to ensure a smoother process and reduce the risk of delays in completion, whilst their clients get good deals.”

Peter Barton, head of Ashfords’ equity release team, comments: “We are delighted to join the Advise Wise legal panel, their mortgage club is growing and going from strength to strength and we are excited to be a part of it.”

Richard Espley, director of equity release at GWlegal, adds: “Equity Release advisers rely on expert guidance and advice for their clients. GWlegal are delighted to be part of this specialist panel and are looking forward to supporting the Advise Wise Mortgage Club members and their clients.”
