Autumn 2023 will see the return of the Homebuyer Show Scotland in Glasgow, a dedicated show for Scottish homebuyers looking to understand their finances and make their next move.

The show was initially launched in Glasgow in 2019 and then has been on hold due to event restrictions following the Pandemic.  Back with vigor and a new digital marketing approach to drive visitor numbers, the show plans to return to Glasgow on Saturday 30th September.

Given the importance of mortgage and financial advice in the current financial climate, the returning show this year has formed a partnership with Mortgage Advice Bureau.

The event will again cater for all types of homebuyers; from first and last time buyers, second steppers to families looking for room to grow or downsize. Those looking to remortgage will also find the event useful in order to speak directly with the experts and access the best deals.

Homebuyer Show Scotland is the only show in Scotland dedicated to the homebuying process and is designed to help buyers find their next home or mortgage, arming them with all information they need to make it possible.

Mortgage advice

Matt Colgan, Event Director for Homebuyer Show Scotland comments: “Following the success of our launch show, we are very excited to be returning to Glasgow with Homebuyer Show Scotland in Autumn 2023.  This coming year is a time whereby homebuyers are going to need plenty of one-on-one and reliable financial and mortgage advice – and the specialist show aims to fulfil that need. The internet is a good place to start but our show will mean that buyers can access free, reliable, and individual advice – and buyers will really understand how their next property purchase will be possible.”

The show will be run by experienced event planners Cognition Events, as well as Grey Pocket and Building Relations PR.

Homebuyer Show Scotland will be held in Glasgow on Saturday 30th September 2023 and will again be hosted at the Royal Concert Hall from 10am until 4pm. The show will welcome a range of exhibitors offering property sales and services; from estate agents, new homes builders to mortgage lenders and solicitors; combining to provide a valuable ‘one stop shop’ opportunity for homebuyers looking to make their next move.

Part-exchange

Potential homebuyers will be able to seek free financial advice in a one-to-one consultation, find out everything about their mortgage options or ask any legal questions they may have – all under one roof.  Throughout the day, key industry speakers will be able to deliver advice on certain topics, including first time buyers, helpful schemes such as Part-Exchange as well as explaining the legal process in more depth. There will also be a whole range of properties and new homes to discover as well as finding out about any incentive and financial assistance available.

Dominic Taddei, CEO of MAB’s Network Partner in Scotland, says: “In the current property climate, buyers have been led to believe that mortgages have disappeared.  This is simply not the case and there are a vast range of opportunities out there for buyers who want to make their next move. It is our job at MAB to be proactive and support those buyers who need guidance. Mortgage availability is improving every week and there are still lots of banks’ lending – and a move is definitely still possible.  There is a lot of change at the moment, so we always recommend people seek advice when searching for a mortgage. Anyone who comes to the show can benefit from a free mortgage consultation and find out what mortgage rates will best suit them. It will also be a great opportunity for those looking to remortgage and find out what options are available.”
