Fast property buying service Upstix has announced a strategic partnership with conveyancing panel provider Optimus, in a bid to make the property selling process less cumbersome.

Property owners who receive a cash offer from Upstix but opt for a different route to their sale, including an auction or estate agent, will be offered access to Optimus’ trusted network of conveyancers.

A statement from Upstix says the arrangement complements its mission to simplify and accelerate property sales “providing sellers with faster, more transparent and more trusted routes to completion.”

Frederick Jones, chief executive of Upstix, says: “Upstix is committed to reinventing one of life’s most important transactions – selling your property – and our partnership with Optimus takes us an important step closer to that ambition.  Selecting a high-quality conveyancer can significantly speed up your sale and avoid unnecessary stress, so we’re delighted to be able to introduce would-be sellers to Optimus’ services. It means those who don’t choose our cash offer services can still benefit from an efficient property selling experience, whatever route they choose to take.”

Lee Riche, commercial director at Optimus, adds: “We’re fully supportive of Upstix’s mission to improve the seller experience and are proud to be partnering with them to deliver a service that can meet the evolving needs of today’s property market. Our high-quality conveyancing panel strives to provide a smooth property selling experience, offering home movers unparalleled support, transparency and efficiency from start to finish.”

Upstix aims to empower property sellers to make the right choice for them by providing an instant cash offer through its website, based on their postcode, as well as data on the price, speed and certainty of sale they could expect when selling in different ways, such as on the open market.

Upstix also recommends other service providers from conveyancing through Optimus to selecting a local estate agent for those who choose not to proceed with Upstix.
