One Mortgage System (OMS) and Monument Technology have partnered to create what it calls ā€an end-to-end proposition for lenders.ā€

Clients can originate loans using OMS’s lender origination platform and Monument Technology provides an open, configurable, end-to-end, banking platform as a service (BPaaS) solution.

A customisable dashboard allows lenders using OMS Originations to create workflows to meet a variety of borrowing requirements without lengthy development times or additional costs.

Monument Technology, which launched in 2023, is a Banking-Platform-as-a-Service providing digital channels, through core banking, to servicing needed to run and grow a bank or building society. With a suite of components alongside Monument’s natively developed mobile and web apps, all the third-party licenses, featuring delivery and platform maintenance are delivered in a single contract.

OMS Originations also supports instant decisioning, product engine, bespoke underwriting processing plus second- and third-line audit functionality. In addition, the platform supports complex products including semi-commercial, self-build, JBSP, buy-to-let, retirement interest-only, right to buy, holiday lets, mortgages for expats, limited company buy-to-let and commercial, amongst others.

Dale Jannels, chief executive of One Mortgage System, comments: ā€œPartnering with Monument Technology is a significant step in our journey towards a full end-to-end service proposition and has already enabled us to engage with many lenders seeking to move providers.

ā€œWith the emergence of AI, it’s clear that choosing the right technology partner is high on the agenda for many banks, building societies and specialist lenders as their needs, along with the needs of their borrowers, savers and brokers are changing.  Gone are the days of staying with archaic platforms because it’s ā€˜always been that way’.

ā€œ2025 is already shaping to be an exciting year for OMS Originations and we look forward to working with the Monument Technology team over the coming months and years.ā€

And Steve Britain, CEO of Monument Technology, adds:ā€œWe are delighted to be partnering with OMS to integrate their broker portal and mortgage origination capability with the end-to-end Monument platform to enable our first client, Ecology Building Society, to dramatically enhance their lending proposition. We also look forward to bringing OMS and the Monument Technology platform together for the benefit of other clients going forward.ā€
