The Co-Founders of the Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter have announced the inaugural MIMHC Charity Ball 2025 – sponsored by Market Financial Solutions.
The Ball will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on October 10, as part of World Mental Health Day. The event is being led by William Lloyd-Hayward, Group Chief Operating Officer at The Brightstar Group and Jason Berry, Group Sales Director at Crystal SF.
More than 14 companies from across the Mortgage industry have committed to the event, led by the Headline Sponsor, Market Financial Solutions. Over 120 tickets have already been sold for the event which hopes to see more than 300 people attend.
The event will also be hosted with a difference – an Alcohol Free event!
A statement from the organisation says: “It is right that within our industry there should be a range of events and this unique event adds to that mix. There is clear evidence that alcohol can negatively impact mental health by affecting brain chemistry.”
The night will see all funds raised donated to the Niall Stringer Foundation, a charity supporting young people with access to mental health services and sports clubs across the UK with Mental Health First Aid. The Foundation was established in 2022 in memory of Niall Stringer, who took his own life just short of his 18th birthday.
The event will include a drinks reception, three course meal, celebrity guest speaker, auction, DJ and dancing, plus more. Packages available include Platinum Sponsor, Event Sponsor, Table Package (10 people) as well as many other ways that people can get involved.
Launched in 2021, the Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC) exists to drive positive change around mental health and wellbeing across the mortgage sector. With a growing community of nearly 250 signatory firms and a collective reach to over 20,000 individuals, MIMHC continues to raise awareness, share best practice, and champion a culture of support for everyone working in the industry.
