£1 million pre-seed funding to help ClearPath AI achieve ambitions
A new AI platform for use in the property, legal and finance industry launches today (Monday) with the unveiling of ClearPath AI, which has raised £1 million in pre-seed funding.
The company’s founders say that mortgage brokers, lenders, estate agents and law firms can each use ClearPath independently alongside their existing systems but can also connect across the transaction when they choose to.
The technology is based on ClearPathOS, an AI-native operating system built from the ground up and offering four specialist products which can work independently within a company or alongside their existing technology. These include Property AI, Legal AI, Finance AI and Compliance AI.
Finance AI fits the needs of brokers, lenders and other financial services organisations to help assist with client engagement, information gathering, documentation, case progression, communications and operational processes.
Meanwhile, for estate agencies, specialist AI Agents operate across the journey from instruction and onboarding through Material Information, listing, offers, Memorandum of Sale and sales progression. Decisions requiring human judgement or approval are escalated as required.
Adoption changes industry not great tech
ClearPath founder and chief executive Rudi Kesic said. “Great technology doesn’t change an industry. Adoption does. The opportunity with AI is enormous, but businesses aren’t going to replace years of investment in technology overnight simply because something new has arrived.
“We’ve built ClearPath so an organisation can start using it alongside the systems it already has and get value from it immediately.
“The estate agent has a system. The mortgage broker has a system. The lender has a system. The law firm has a system. And the client sits somewhere between all of them. I don’t think the fundamental problem is that these industries don’t have enough technology. They have enormous amounts of technology. The problem is that much of it operates independently. AI gives us an opportunity to put an intelligent layer across that fragmentation without asking everybody to abandon the systems they already use.”
ClearPath employed more than 20 people across AI, engineering, product and commercial development and plans to double in size as it expands. Its technology operation is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, although its principal UK commercial operation is in Birmingham.
