Organised by The Right Mortgage, the first event takes place next month

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network (TRM) will host its inaugural Women’s Leadership Summit next month, bringing together female business owners, advisers and senior leaders from across the network to focus on leadership, business development and building stronger professional relationships.

The summit, which will take place on Wednesday 9th September at Nuthurst Grange Hotel in Solihull, will feature a range of speakers from the financial services industry. These include Clare Beardmore, director of mortgage club at Legal & General Mortgage Club; Louise Colley, director of retail protection and leadership coach at Zurich UK; Stephanie Charman, chief executive at AMI; and Tina Cooper, national account manager at Lloyds Banking Group (Halifax).

Sharing insight and experiences

Through a programme of interactive workshops, panel discussions and networking opportunities, the summit aims to provide women with the opportunity to share experiences and practical insights. It will cover topics such as building confidence, tackling the ‘inner critic’, developing leadership skills, growing successful businesses, supporting more women into the financial services industry, and creating lasting relationships across the network.

The event is being supported by Legal & General Mortgage Club and Lloyds Banking Group. TRM members who want to attend can register using a booking link provided in the event invitation.

Nicola Ventrella, operations director of The Right Mortgage & Protection Network, said:“I’m incredibly proud that we’re holding our first women’s event at The Right Mortgage. We have so many successful women across our network – running their own businesses, advising clients, leading teams and building brilliant businesses – and it’s important we create opportunities for them to come together, share their experiences and support each other.

“The Leadership Summit is about celebrating that success but also creating something really useful for the women attending. We’ll be hearing from some fantastic female leaders from across financial services, alongside women from within our own network who can share their own journeys, experiences and lessons learned.”
