Integration offers additional revenue stream for brokers

Mortgage Brain has integrated Paymentshield into its CRM Brain platform, allowing brokers to offer clients a home insurance quote as part of the mortgage application process.

Through the integration, brokers will be prompted to ask clients whether they’d like help arranging home insurance once a mortgage application has been submitted through CRM Brain, enabling brokers to generate an additional revenue stream from within their existing workflow.

The process is automatic, with customer data already captured in CRM Brain passed across automatically so that brokers don’t need to log in to a separate system or manage the process manually.

An ongoing programme of updates

Neil Wyatt, chief commercial officer at Mortgage Brain, said: “Adding Paymentshield to CRM Brain is another step in our ongoing programme of updates, and it directly reflects what brokers have told us they need. By bringing home insurance quoting and referral into the platform, brokers can support clients at the point it matters most, without ever leaving the system they’re already working in. It’s a quicker journey for brokers, a smoother experience for their clients, and a new revenue opportunity too.”

Nasar Hussain, associate director intermediated household at Paymentshield, agreed: “This integration is a positive step in helping brokers access home insurance quoting more easily within their existing workflow. By bringing together CRM Brain and Paymentshield, we’re helping to simplify the process for advisers and support a smoother experience for their clients,” he said.
