Come and meet the experts

The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) is counting down the last month before throwing open the doors to its seventh Commercial Finance Expo, the biggest one yet. This is the headline we run every year, so apart from the expansion, what else has changed?

With more than 140 lenders supporting our association, up from 120 last year, we’re in a stronger position than ever.

We can bring lenders together to get across-the-market agreement on what they need from brokers, while offering brokers genuine choice and competition.

You’ll see for yourself just how broad and complete the mix of lenders now is, including representatives from: high street banks, challenger banks, asset funders, pension led funders and bridging specialists, as well as peer-to-peer lenders and crowdfunders. Nowhere else will you see all this together under one roof.

We’ve got over 120 exhibitors and expect 1,700 visitors. The floor space has been opened out and extended and is now 50% bigger than three years ago, a visible demonstration of the recent growth of the NACFB.

New concepts like the Meet the Experts show and the NACFB’s own Marquee will compete for your attention with a packed conference schedule.

The NACFB has a great deal to share with its members in the Conference Theatre this year. Our new Training and Education plans are about to bear fruit, and we will be launching and explaining the new Minimum Standards Document, an initiative that will affect the whole of the commercial finance market.

We set out our road map at the start of the year and now we’re fully up to the challenge of being held accountable for meeting our own ambitious plans.

The Minimum Standards, new website, hiring of new staff and developing our compliance services were all on the to-do list for the first half of 2016, and we are right on schedule.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to invite every single Introducer Today reader to clear their diaries for 15 June and come to this free event.

We’re especially keen to meet you if you’re a broker who hasn’t yet joined our association. Come and meet us at stand F01 and we’ll happily demonstrate to you the other advantages of membership.

For the rest of you, it’s a day to do business and, I hope, it’s also a day to have some fun and enjoy yourselves. I hope to see some of you there.
