Scottish Provident has been awarded the Best Critical Illness Provider Award at the 2009 Investment, Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards.

The award, presented for product excellence and service, was collected by Alan Savery, regional sales manager at Scottish Provident, during the ceremony held at the Brewery in London.

The award was voted for by the Moneyfacts’ IFA readership.

Susan Barclay, head of marketing at Scottish Provident, said: “We are delighted to have received another award acknowledging the quality of our critical illness offering, especially as this award is voted for by the IFA community.  Scottish Provident paid out 93 per cent of all critical illness claims between January and June this year. This shows we are true to our word in paying valid claims.”
