First Complete and Pink have revealed that their mortgage, protection and general insurance sales all reached record highs in 2017.
The two networks, both part of LSL Property Services, submitted an overall total of 7,151 mortgage applications in March, a rise of more than 800 applications on their previous most successful month. Mortgage lending, meanwhile, reached £1.31 billion in the same month.
In addition, almost 120 individuals from both networks secured more than £3 million worth of lending each in March – a 21% rise on the previous highest number of sellers.
The two networks also witnessed a record month when it comes to selling protection, with Appointed Representatives in each network submitting 8,548 protection applications, 17% higher than their previous best. What’s more, the Protection API also motored in March, reaching an all-time high of £3.22 million.
March also saw a significant rise in General Insurance business, with total sales hitting a monthly record £387,857 as the number of GI cases rose to 1,240.
“Looking at these statistics we can, once again, see how the First Complete and Pink mortgage networks continue to be amongst the best performing in the market,” Toni Smith, sales operations director at First Complete, said.
“Despite lending softening across the market, our advisers have posted their best ever month. Looking ahead, we hope to continue this success by ensuring our brokers receive the support they need in today’s fast-changing market.”
