Great news!! Fewer properties means higher rents. Unfortunate for the collateral damage (as Government likes to call tenants) but tenants can thank their "champions" i.e. Shelter, Generation Rent, Acorn et al. for their contribution to driving Landlords away & ask them to accommodate them instead (with their £m's stashed in the bank).

The only people asking for 3yr tenancies are rogue tenants who get evicted regularly for non payment of rent, damaging properties, and/or being antisocial. EHS research shows average tenancies in excess of 4yrs proving good tenants can stay as long as they want. Of course, the faux charity, Shelter, who houses no one are jumping on this bandwagon as it suits their narrative. Rattling their collections boxes to pay their executives their 6 figure salaries.

No s**t - never expected that to happen!! Why does a private Landlord who has set up a limited company to buy properties through suddenly become more professional?
