Yet another key member of staff at short-term lender Tiuta has left the company.

Anita Kirkbright, head of operations, is quitting after four years with the company “to pursue other career opportunities”.

Her departure follows that of chief executive George Patellis in February, followed by April’s departures of Guy Garrard, head of business development, Stuart Brumhill, head of marketing, and regional account managers Gordon Rae and Jim Baker.

Tiuta played down the latest management departure, although new chief executive Steven Nicholas paid tribute to her, saying she had single-handedly “managed the development of our mortgage processing system which has been fundamental to our ongoing success and she has made a valuable contribution to the development of the firm”.

Tiuta has announced successors to Brumhill and Garrard.

Gareth Lewis, who joins from Cheval, is new head of business development, and Kirsty Buchanan, who was with JS Law, has been appointed as a business development manager.

'On the 23rd February the Tiuta Board of Directors informed the Investment
Advisor that they had been made aware of significant trading losses, which,
amongst other factors, was due to low lending activity in the 4th Quarter of
2010 and a substantial increase in costs, both factors requiring immediate
action. BDO had been appointed to review their financial situation and
structure, together with appointing a new and qualified financial controller.'
