Conveyancing technology provider ULS Technology has announced the arrival of DigitalMove Remortgage for mortgage brokers.
This new functionality aims to help brokers deliver a customer-centric digital journey for fixed fee, variable fee and cashback remortgage cases.
The expansion follows a successful pilot phase, with DigitalMove Remortgage now available for all networks and eConveyancer brokers. The service for sale and purchase cases are also available for brokers introducing work to ULS Technology firms.
Through DigitalMove, legal work can be completed sooner, improving the security and transparency for all parties involved.
According to data from the pilot phase, the average time taken to complete and return welcome packs on remortgage cases decreased from 22 days to 6 with DigitalMove. The current shortest turnaround for the completion and return of a DigitalMove starter pack is 21 minutes.
This announcement is the latest in a portfolio of new products that the firm has released in recent weeks, alongside fixed fee remortgage and a free-to-customer concierge service from partners Just Move In.
Steve Goodall, chief executive officer at ULS Technology, comments: “DigitalMove is the future of conveyancing and we are seeing some remarkable reductions in the time it takes to complete key parts of the process, compared with non-DigitalMove cases.”
“DigitalMove Remortgage enables brokers to offer these benefits to a wider range of customers, helping them provide the best possible customer journey.”
Tammy Jones, partner at BB Legal, adds: “I believe conveyancing is fast-becoming a digital process, with more clarity and less paperwork so online portals are the way forward. Online portals will help clients and solicitors alike make the transition to online conveyancing with efficiency and ease.”
