Just Mortgages reveals details of its leadership programme

National brokerage Just Mortgages has opened nominations for its new leadership programme, which it claims is “designed to find and develop future leaders.”

The programme enables managers within the division to nominate suitable candidates who have the skills and aspiration to progress within the business. Successful candidates are then enrolled to a training and mentoring programme to support them in their current role and develop skills to support their progression. 

Across three modules, the programme covers topics such as time management, problem solving and conversation skills, as well as leadership qualities and transferable skills. One module provides a deeper understanding of Just Mortgages, the needs of the business and wider opportunities in other divisions.

The programme highlights opportunities in learning and development, compliance, administration and marketing where advisers can utilise their skills and progress their career. 

The initiative operates alongside parent company Spicerhaart’s leadership programme and joins a full suite of training and support curated by Just Mortgage. 

The leadership programme is led by Greg Smith, senior trainer for the employed division, who says:“Learning and development plays a critical role in the ongoing success of any business. The aim of this new programme is to match those who aspire to progress within the business with the necessary training, mentoring and knowledge.”

Just Mortgages’ learning and development team offers in-person and remote training sessions for all staff, as well as hundreds of online modules through its My Learning Space digital platform. The employed division at Just Mortgage is made up of more than 150 advisers; Just Mortgages has a self-employed division which is fast approaching 500 advisers.
