New BDM appointment hopes to strengthen clients’growth potential
Aldermore has appointed Joshua Owens as business development manager within its Asset Based Lending (ABL) team.
He will work closely with brokers, advisers and businesses across the south to strengthen Aldermore’s presence in the region as part of a wider ambition by Aldermore to deepen its presence in the ABL market.
Previously, Owens spent nearly five years as regional sales director at Investec Capital Solutions, before which he held a number of business development roles during almost a five-year tenure at Bibby Financial Services.
Releasing working capital
Chris Meldrum, head of business development at Aldermore, said: “ABL can play an important role in helping established businesses release working capital, invest with confidence and pursue their growth ambitions. Joshua’s appointment strengthens our ability to bring these flexible funding solutions to more businesses across the South, while reinforcing Aldermore’s position as a specialist funding partner for SMEs with more complex requirements.”
Owens said: “In an increasingly dynamic business environment, SMEs require flexible funding solutions that align with their operational needs and growth aspirations.
“Aldermore’s relationship-led approach and deep sector expertise position it strongly to support businesses with their working capital requirements and long-term ambitions. I look forward to partnering with brokers and advisers across the South to further extend the reach of Aldermore’s offering, helping more businesses realise their growth potential and achieve their long-term goals.”
