Perspective Financial Group Ltd, the consolidation vehicle for IFA firms, has today (26th May 2009) revealed its results for 2008.
The accounts are to the year ended 31st December 2008 however the company only began trading on the 1st April last year and so reflect trading from that date and the acquisitions that were made throughout 2008.
Perspective’s turnover for 2008 was £3.1 million with an operating profit of £450k.
Damian Keeling, Managing Director at Perspective Financial Group Ltd, commented:
“We are very pleased to post a profit in our first period of trading and are running ahead of our budget and expectations. 2009 has started equally well, and we are currently approximately 30% ahead of budget. We expect to acquire a number of businesses during 2009 but our current group expects to turnover some £8.3 million and make an operating profit of up to £2 million in the year to 31 December 2009. Clearly, as we acquire further businesses these numbers will increase.
“The accounts show the success of our business model, acquiring high quality businesses with strong earnings and leaving their management teams to grow them with only minimal input from head office. We’d like to thank all our staff across the group for their great efforts in 2008, and their continuing success in 2009. In these difficult times the need for quality of advice, combined with detailed knowledge and understanding of clients’ needs, has never been more important.”
